Yesterday evening, when a chilly wind was blowing outside, @bistrot.duca organized again a famous dinner with the sommelier evening. At every course, sommelier Emiliano presented an original wine, matching with the dish.
The evening was called "the shy wines" because they exist in the background and are not so famous but therefore not less interesting. Actually, they were amazing.
As always, we enjoyed an original menu by Christian with delicious food. At the picture Goulash, I forgot to make a picture of the Vitello Tonato because it tasted so good😋

This picture was taken at one of my favorite lakes, lago di Bolsena. Good combination in a day trip with for example Orvieto and Bagnoregio.

It seems to be floating on the clouds, the medieval village of Carnaiola, municipality Fabro, in Umbria. At an altitude of 350 meters with around 200 inhabitants. And you can even find a good restaurant @locanda_di_desideria in the village. It could be a great set for Game of a Thrones.

We started with an interesting tour with an explanation about the process and history and, after that, of course, a tasting. Fabbrica Perugia has an amazing history dating from the 19th century , 1875, and brought back to life in 2006.
